World of Ducks, Fish and Spider Flowers

I saw a flower with a ruffle around the pollen. There was a tiny bit of pollen. Around the ruffle and the pollen was a thing that was black. On the thing that was black was a white spot. There was very dark red, medium dark red, and then it was all yellow.

There were ducks in a pond at the nature preserve. Their bodies were grey, their necks were black, and their beaks were white. There was a school of tiny black fish in the water. Mommy said that the fish might be one of the things the ducks eat.

This is a spider flower. The spider flower had pollen in the middle, and its petals were perfectly straight.

World of Chickens

I'm really happy that I got six more chickens and a rooster. He is not in his cage anymore. He is out. The chickens are laying more eggs. This morning I saw three eggs in one nest. There are all matching chickens except for the rooster. He is black. His tail is a little green. He is very fierce. We named him The Great Achilles.

There are two golden chickens. Mommy named them Persephone and Demeter. There are two red ones. Daddy called them foxes. There are two black and white ones like zebras. We named them Tweedledee and Tweedledum.

Nature Preserve Walk

My brother, my mommy and I went to a nature preserve in the stroller. It was a nice walk. Right at the side of the road, I saw two snails on a pipe that was a little bit out of the ground. I said to Mommy, "can you pick those snails up so I can see if they are alive or dead, or just doing something out of their shells." So Mommy picked them up. They had a white thing between them and she said, "I think they're mating." So she put them down and we went on to the nature preserve. It was a nice nature preserve and we found lots of things that we discovered were very interesting.
