The Fiddler Crab

I was looking around on the sand. All of a sudden, I saw a little crab, or he wasn't so little. He was as long as the finger by my middle finger that is also by my thumb. He was yellow. One pincher was bigger than the other pincher. His eyes had little slits in his shell that they could go down in, or they could be on stalks, like normal crabs. I liked him a lot. It had been a long time since I had seen a crab. I love fiddler crabs.

  1. It's great that you like animals. Today I thought of you when Grandpa disturbed a toad in our backyard while he was digging. Mr. Toad did not seem very happy, but it was fun to watch him hop away and find a cool damp spot.
